Title: ONE SENTENCE DRABBLE SERIES 5: “I Promise…”

Length – Words: Drabble – 100 words each

Author’s notes: prompt by 0hm1y4_l0v3 and I’m hoping she’s reading this somehow… I won’t tell the whole sentence for now… XDDDDD As always, comments and criticisms are highly appreciated. Though I got to warn you, I can’t promise happy ending as you know how Maou had ended right?

1. I

The first time Koichi met the lawyer, Naruse Ryo, was the time Shi nudged him while cooking as the lawyer came in with his client.

“Nii, isn’t that the famous angelic lawyer?”

Koichi looked up, observing the said man. A simple smile in a gentle face, the lawyer wasn’t just angelic with his deeds as news claimed but also with his features.

But there was something in the lawyer’s eyes that fascinated the cook.

“Hayashi rice please…” Ryo ordered.

Koichi snapped back at the call. When their eyes met, Koichi knew this wouldn’t be the last but rather a start.

2. Promise

Koichi observed his last customer. Months had already pass since the lawyer became a patron of his restaurant.

Koichi didn’t mind, in fact he was more grateful. A short talk and his heart thumped widely, a simple smile and his cheeks flushed and when their eyes met more than a minute, Koichi couldn’t help but to drown with those almond eyes.

“Isn’t it a bit late sensei, should you go home?” Koichi asked. The lawyer just smiled and shook his head.

“No one is waiting.”

 “Then, I'll stay.” Koichi smiled and he meant it much more than what he admitted.

Hmm.... This scene is before the whole murder thing, ne?
That means... won't Naruse be shocked to see someone that looks EXACTLY like him later? you know... Nino as a guest appearence?

Eh? I didn't think of that... but yeah, in my image it was after the events of Ryusei no Kizuna but before the event of Maou (even ironically, Maou was the first drama and preceded by Ryusei no Kizuna, hahahaha~)
