Synopsis: A demon who lurks in the forest that game him his second life, a person he needed to find after 21 years. The agreement should be fulfilled or he might never escape his fated despair. Hidden in the darkness the forest shed, I lurk here alone in my own kingdom. No human ever laid eyes on me for death would be their destination. I feel a presence so suddenly and I quickly search for it. I see a woman running towards the centre with something on her arms. Tears were evident on her face but I careless. I never care about anything else aside from myself. My head is turning away until I hear a baby’s cry. With pleading mourns I heard, the woman who brought you here wished for you to live longer. I should go and ignore this but my body wouldn’t move for her flees reached my cold heart. I gritted my teeth as my movements took me in front of her, earning a gasped of surprise. I couldn’t looked straight but the woman started begging, “Please spirit, let my son live… he’s the only one I got.” pleaded the woman. Seeing from the corner of my eyes, I looked at the baby on her arms with mixed emotions. His skin was getting paler and I knew it was hard for the baby to breathe.
Before my mouth could stop me, I already said my bidding, “Your son will live like any other man but on his 21st birthday, a new side of him would be born. He have to find me for soul is now mine and he couldn’t avoid this fate as he live until he proved to me he was worth the second chance I gave him and live freely on his own will.”
I put my hand above his little forehead and a black aura marked his soul mine. The mother bowed to me in gratitude yet scared and left with the baby now peacefully resting in her arms. As he silhouette disappear, a smile curved in my face. I looked above the dark sky that reigned and only the moonlight shined. My eyes started getting blurry. I knew this would happen but once again, I careless.
Tch. I guess I’ll be seeing you again after 21 years. Even so after those years, I’ll be waiting for you to return. For now for me, everything will be darkness even under the moonlight…
