Author’s Notes:
I’m back. I was going to update Angel’s Wings since I’m really happy about the response I got but then school was really demanding. To those readers, please be patient neh? School became hectic and I needed to finish a lot of artworks for school. This would be my first OhMiya one shot. Hehe, I got the idea fromJade’s 25 First Sentence Challenge I read before while traveling back to our province. Suddenly I thought of that sentence and I was able to come with this one shot, each part had exactly 260 words. DON’T

Ohno squirmed when the door of the green room closed with a faint noise saying, “Bye guys!” coming from Aiba who just left following the other two members who had left earlier. No one was present aside from him and Nino to whom he requested to stay a bit more.

“Oh-chan, what you wanna talked about?” Nino started as he put the newest edition of his DS carefully to his backpack. Since Ohno sounded so serious when he asked him to stay, Nino figured they would be talking about something important and he didn’t want to sound rude as the other talked. He sat beside him and he felt Ohno tensed up in the couch. “Oh-chan, are you okay?” he asked worriedly but it startled him when Ohno suddenly stood up, getting his backpack.

“A… err.. GOOD WORK KAZU, BYE!” Ohno almost shouted nervously and ran away, leaving Nino gaping in confusion.

Ohno stopped his tracks as he felt that he ran far enough from their green room. Even though he knew it wasn’t the most romantic way to do it, Ohno had an urge to tell him right there, right that time but guess his guts went away that he ended up running away from Nino. Or maybe, he was afraid he would get rejected.

“I think it’s better to keep my mouth mum about it and forget about it.”

But then, he contradicted his self as a second pass by. He just can’t forget about his feelings for Nino and he never wanted to let go of it.

YOU 


 

Nino gaped in confusion as he watched Ohno ran away from him, even leaving the door wide open. What the heck is that? He thought. He was indeed confused remembering how Ohno approached him earlier after their manager announced that they could finally go home and the older man looked rather serious as he asked him to stay with him in the green room a little bit more. And now he dared leaving him there hanging?

He just put on his backpack and walked rather disappointed but a sigh of relief escape his lips. “Oh-chan doesn’t have any idea how nervous I am when he have asked to stay like that.” Nino thought once again, a hint of blush tinting his face thinking if Ohno did say what he wanted to hear from the guy. “Don’t be ridiculous kazunari!” He said as reality hit him. He had been hiding it for years they been through together. He didn’t know how or when it all did start, it just did. If you look at it, you’d think they were exact opposite of another so it was impossible for some reason. Of course, as everyone knew it, he had that brat image of among all the members of Arashi with his sharp tongue and snarky remarks but only one gentle person could see through him.

“Yapari, it was Oh-chan from the start.”

And it was the same man that made his heart flutter even with just his sleepy eyes staring at him. What more if the slight tanned man smiled at him?

 

KNOW

Nino was busy playing the new game he just bought as he waited for the others to arrive at their green room. His body siting with a bad slouch as his eyebrows furrowed with his full concentration on killing the monster in the game. He got a bit early since his shooting location was near and he finished taping earlier. He heard the door swung open yet he didn’t bother to raise his head to see who it was.  

He heard a voice saying “Ohayou gozaimasu…” in a low tone and Nino already knew who the one who arrived was. He felt someone sat beside him, placing an arm around his shoulder while through head dress and automatically, Nino shifted his position, relaxing his self as he leaned closer to Ohno who just sleepily sat there. He rested his head back to Ohno’s shoulder as the latter rested his on top of Nino’s head. With Ohno’s scent lingering on his nose, Nino felt happier. It may seemed normal between them, or not really if you looked from other’s personal view but then everything was just normal. But right that moment, everything was special for Nino.

He had pause his game as he heard a soft snore and a smile crept on his face. He put his console down and nestled more beside Ohno as the latter unconsciously nuzzled his head above Nino’s. Closing his eyes without erasing his smile on his face, he travelled to dreamland knowing when reality put his back, Ohno would be there to welcome him back.

Ohno woke up by Aiba’s sudden outburst of laughter. He looked to his front and saw Aiba and Sho teasing around by the table while Matsujun was busy reading his script. He felt a light weight pressed into him in his side and he glanced by the corner of his eyes, seeing an angel sleeping soundly on his arm. It was a normal sight between the members but then they had no idea how happy Ohno was to be in that position. Nino’s breathed was calm with his eyes closed, shaking a bit but something not alarming. He bashed carefully the strand of Nino’s bangs and seeing a smile on Nino’s face, he wondered what the other was dreaming about.

It had been years when his heart beat for the younger man. No clue at all when all of it started. He just knew he fell badly for this guy. He wanted to be Nino’s partner; the one who Nino would intertwine his stubby fingers with, the one he’d laughed with in happiness or cry in times when sadness stormed. He wanted to be other to protect Nino and be the one the latter would spend the rest of his life with.

A sigh escaped Ohno’s lips thinking back all of his wishes in his life. He knew nothing would happen if he didn’t do anything from scratch but again, Nino might really reject him. He didn’t want to sacrifice their just for his selfishness. There are so many at stakes here and he couldn’t only be thinking of himself.

LOVE

Nino waited for the older man to come out of their green room. He knew Ohno would be the first one to leave for home, he would wait outside rather than go inside and asked the older man to stay behind like what Ohno did to him before. Leaning his back against the wall while his eyes glued on the floor, he knew what he would do was impulsive but he couldn’t sleep a wink at all as his heart kept telling him to confess. He had been controlling his self for not blurting what he really felt, not wanting to risk their friendship, something Nino wouldn’t want to lose unless they’d go for the next level. As the door opened with Ohno coming out, No words came out as Nino grabbed Ohno’s wrist, dragging the other carefully. 

The rooftop, the place where Nino’s feet took them, was silent and was a perfect place to pour anything out and no one would bother to disturbed them. He closed the door and pushed Ohno right there, crashing his lips to Ohno’s haft-opened mouth. He could see Ohno’s eyes, wide in shock but he didn’t mind as he slowly closed his eyes. Within that kiss, he wanted pour everything, his feeling he had be keeping all of those year. He wanted Ohno to feel that but as Ohno remained unresponsive, Nino let go the older man’s lips and he took that as rejection.

Looking to Ohno’s eyes, tenderly yet hinted of sadness, Nino almost shouted, “DON’T YOU KNOW I LOVE YOU OH-CHAN?
 
 

YOU 


 

“DON’T YOU KNOW I LOVE YOU OH-CHAN?” Nino’s words that he almost shouted repeated in Ohno’s mind.  
He looked him, finding the truth through the younger’s eyes and seeing those eyes tenderly looking back at him, Ohno knew the latter was saying the truth. Knowing Nino all through the years, Ohno knew Nino wasn’t the kind of guy who would kid about these things. Heck, he did fall in love with the guy right? But he couldn’t utter a word even if he opened his mouth. He had been dreaming about this for hundreds of times and right now, he couldn’t decipher whether he was day dreaming or this was real at all.

“Oi, s-say something… o-old man…” Nino almost muttered, nervousness could be heard in his voice.

“I-I’m not dreaming r-right?” Ohno asked, more like asking his self.

“Baka~ of course not…” Nino chuckled though shades of red invaded his cheeks. Ohno grabbed Nino by his nape and kissed the latter passionately, this time now making Nino leaned his back towards the closed door. When precious air was needed, he stopped and looked back to Nino’s fluttering eyes with intense yet a smile forming in his face.

“Don’t you know that I love you too?” Ohno said as he leaned to Nino’s side, kissing his temple. Nino smiled, ascending his hands to cupped Ohno’s chubby cheeks and made the man to face him.
 

“Shut up and just kiss me…” Nino said before crashing his lips towards the older man’s. Ohno complied more willingly, after all HIS Nino ordered him.
