My heart beats so fast. It’s like it will burst out.
“Super Junior? Please be ready.” The PD-nim reminded us and I knew by that time it is the start of everything. I take a deep breath, calming myself. There comes Heechul, swinging his arm around me and says, “Yah, Jungsoo-ah. Don’t be nervous you know.” He mocks but I know inside his heart, he is feeling the same. I look at them one by one, from Heechul to Hankyung, from Hankyung to Yesung, from Yesung to Kangin, from Kangin to Shindong, from Shindong to Sungmin, from Sungmin to Eunhyuk, from Eunhyuk to Donghae, from Donghae to Siwon, from Siwon to Ryeowook and lastly from Ryeowook to Kibum. We are 12 guys that are brought together to bring Super Junior05.
Here we are, standing on the stage. Everything seems to be unreal now that we make it this far. Everyone is silent, waiting for what we will bring. I look ahead with a smile. Lights are spotted on us. It is time. It is the start of a journey, a journey with a road that will never be smooth. But never will I fear for I know I can count on with 11 great guys. It’s the 6th of November, year of 2005 and I mark it as our day. The music starts. We sing and dance our hearts out, pouring all the passion that envelops within us. Hearing those cheers, my heart dances in happiness. It is a blessing to be showered by your love towards us. I am thankful.
The music stops as we make our final pose. It’s time for the other artist to take the stage. The others are teary and I admit I am too. It is really coming true. They head towards the backstage but I stay a bit more to grab this chance. With tears that threaten to fall, I face you all once more. I take a bow, thankful of the warm you give to us. Lowering my head in front of you, I humbly say to you silently, “Hello everyone and we are Super Junior..”

It’s been six months since then and we come back new. I looked at our newest member and the magnae of the group, Kyuhyun. He sits there, playing on the game console as we wait to be called for us to perform. I know he is nervous and so are the others. There is still fear and it will never be remove. Even so, I am contented to be grouped with 12 great guys. This time, there are 13 of us that will bring you Super Junior.
Here we are, standing on the stage again. Dozens of pair of eyes were concentrating on us, waiting for what the new us will bring. Like always, I look ahead with smile knowing that you’ll be there to cheer for us. Our fans that we call our ‘Everlasting Friends’, we are blessed once more to be grace by your presence. The music starts and I can hear your chants and see those blue light sticks that you carry. Ah, that scene lifted me up. One by one, we deliver our lines, dedicating each word for you. My heart flatters that you responded better that I have expected. The music stops and we deliver that last pose, hoping it will be remembered. All 13 of us together, facing you all.
“And the winner is… Super Junior’s U! Chukahamnida!”
I can’t believe it. Our very first award, we have it in our hands. The MC asks if we like to say a few words and I take that opportunity to thank everyone that supported us and everyone that help us in this success. Eunhyuk was crying already that I let him speak too. “And to our fanclub, ELF! Thank you very much!” I hear him say and all of you shout.
We finally did it, we finally won, our first award together with our dear ELF. Everyone started to go to the backstage with tears of happiness. I heard your cheer continuously. Once again, I took this chance to take a bow, thanking all of you with all my heart. Lowering my head under your gaze as my closed eyes constantly shed tears, I humbly say to you silently, “Thank you everyone. Together now with Kyuhyun, we are Super Junior.”

As we wait for the time we’ll perform. I stare in nothingness and reflect of what have happened these past months. Tragedies and happiness all have occurred. I am expecting it. Like I said, this road will never be smooth. I look at Heechul, he doesn’t show it but I know that the rod that is placed in his leg bothers him. My gaze shifts to Kyuhyun in his new blonde hair. I remember that accident we went through and my heart aches. Tears start to form but I must hold it back, we still have a performance to come. I’m just really glad he is okay now, everyone is okay now. I’m relieved that he can stand in the stage same as us.
I then caught glance of Henry, a new member of the family. He is featured in our newest song and I know it made a ruckus. Everyone say they will protect 13 no matter what. Yes, there are only 13 members of Super Junior but Henry is part of our family, one of our brothers and we tend to protect him too. Will you protect him too like you did for us?
Here we are, standing on the stage. All of your attention is focus to us, anticipating for fresh new concept we will bring. Like always, I look ahead with smile knowing a sea of sapphire blue waits for us. Everlasting Friends that hold light sticks that glows, you shine once more in its glory. The music starts, and I can hear your screams and it elates me once again. Under the fierce posture we make, deep inside we are overwhelm. Ah, I hear Kyuhyun’s part, it feels so right. Everything feels so right that 13 of us stand in the same stage.
“Only 13!” I hear you chant it as Henry plays his violin solo. I feel grateful but I also feel sorry for Henry. Please accept him for he is part of our family. Please protect him too and love him too. He may not be part of Super Junior but accept him as an individual that is part of our family.
The music stops and paused with fierce written in our faces. I hear hundreds of claps blended with screams and I know you guys are the loudest of all. Everyone is going to the backstage except for me. Again, I take this opportunity to take a bow full of gratitude and happiness. Lowering my head with my sincerest heart, I humbly say to you silently, “No matter what happens. Remember ELF, we are Super Junior.”

I sit here with all of the members as the program goes on. I feel contended and happy that we are together. We are waiting for the final announcement, the announcement for the winner of Best Artist. Like the first time we step in the stage, my heart beats faster. I close my eyes, praying that we’ll be able to achieve it.
“And the winner for the Best Artist this year of 2007 is… Super Junior! Chukahamnida!”
It seems everything goes in fast forward that I stand here now in the stage receiving the award. I look at the trophy given to us. Tears won’t stop coming from my eyes. I can’t speak much when the MC asks me to deliver a speech so I let the others to continue it for me. I’m too thankful. Once again and together with ELF, we are given such a great recognition. Members are hugging and tears are evident in each others’ eyes. Some are bowing towards you. A smile forms in my face even if it is drenched with tears. Like them, I take this chance to take a bow. Overwhelm with so much blessings, I am forever thankful. Lowering my head as your loving eyes center on us, I humbly say to you silently, “Receiving this award wouldn’t be impossible as long as we are together. ELF, we are Super Junior!”

I wait here in the dressing room with others as we wait for the time. Goosebumps starts appearing, nervous as we take the stage once more. This time it’s different because only us that will own the stage. Only we will perform in front of the audience, in front all of you. This is our first concert, our first Asian tour. But I feel confident because ELF always boosts me, no all of us. We will enjoy this, together with ELF.
One by one, all of us are lined in a single file in the middle of the stage. The concert has ended with tears and smiles have turned out. I’m just glad no one got hurt. Look at that, the sapphire blue sea that never fails to enchant us. You have been waiting and finally we bring you our very first concert. Do you like it? I hope it will be memorable. I look at each member, with a smile on my face.

Truly ELF, you never fail to mesmerize us. Too bad Kibum isn’t with us now. Even so, I know we are one. As Siwon finishes his speech, we are lead to the backstage so we can change our attires for the performance later. Before I budge to move out, I take this chance now to take a bow. Lowering my head under the gaze of the cheering crowd, a fan or not, I humbly say to you silently, “Until we fill the world with sapphire pearl blue, we’ll never stop. I stand here in the backstage. It is getting colder. I hope you’ll keep yourself warm ne? It hurt so much when people doubted us. But we can’t do anything much, it’s their opinion. All we can do is prove them wrong, prove them they are wrong in doubting us. Together with ELF, anything is possible ne?

Even if we do promote in separate groups, Super Junior Mandarin in China, together with our brothers Henry and Zhoumi, Super Junior Happy and Trot here in Korea and Japan respectively, in our hearts we’ll always be one. Ah, it’s the 13th of March 2009, the day for our comeback. Sorry Sorry that we make you wait long. Kibum couldn’t take the stage with us but I know he’s cheering for us like you guys. And I know, even if there is one space to be fill in, deep in our hearts, we can feel that he is with us. ELF, we come back now with a new us once again. I hope you’ll like it. Let’s do our best neh? It’s been 3 years since everything started ne and we’ll continue more right? You have been protecting us, our sub-groups and each of the members, this time we’ll protect you.

Days of practice and rehearsals to bring you the best have paid off. We finally did it. Tears keep on pouring, I couldn’t hold it in. “ELF, thank you!!! Kibum-ah, hyungs did it!!!” I shouted as tears of happiness strikes me. No words can describe how much thankful I am to everyone that supported us. I am forever thankful to the lord, for giving this chance, standing with this awesome 12 guys and to our beautiful ELF. With tears still lingersd in the side of my eyes, I take this chance to take a bow. It might be difficult to fill up 2 spaces but we’ll do our best.

We have done it once again. Anything is possible and that’s because ELF has always been there. I’m really grateful. You keep protecting us. Sometimes I still think if we deserve all the love you give to us. Here we are now in the stage, accepting yet another wonderful award. Eunhyuk starts to cry already huh? Donghae is starting to shed tears too. Ah, I must hold first my tears so I can face you with a smile. Time surely flies, right? It’s been 5 years already since we have taken that road together. Here again, the award ceremonies have come. We are now waiting for the Disk Daesang to be announce. I keep my head down, praying that we’ll win again. Selfish as it may sound but I really want to win it before me and Heechul enter the army.

I’m sorry but we fail you ELF. Really, I’m happy for our hoobaes and dongsaengs So Nyu Shi Dae but you can’t remove the sadness I feel. I know the others feel it too. My tears start to pour, same goes for Eunhyuk, Donghae, Ryeowook and Sungmin. We can’t help it. We are hoping but it left us being disappointed, especially to ourselves that we can’t win it this time for our dear ELF.
But even though we didn’t win this time, I still feel thankful that you are there with us. For me, having ELF is our greatest award. I take this chance ,even if it might not be noticeable, to take a bow. I can’t believe it. It seems like yesterday when we have started Super Show 3. Do you like it? Everyone work hard for it, especially Eunhyuk and Shindong that became our floor director. My stare roam around inside the stadium and witness the beauty of sapphire pearl blue sea. Ah, as I expect even before, it will always be beautiful. 3 hours of fun have finished and it’s time to say goodbye. I look at each of the members, glad I was able to continuously stand with them at the same stage. A lot of them are emerging for their solo activities ne? They have grown so much. I’m really happy and proud of each of them.
Like any other concerts we made, it’s time to express our solemn gratitude with a bow. It may be the same but it is different for me. Maybe for Heechul too since both of us are going to the army soon. We take this chance to bow with our earnest hearts. It’s been a rough road but we stayed stronger. I’m really pleased. I’m glad that all of the members have come forth to send me and Heechul off. As Siwon finishes his speech, we are lead to the backstage so we can change our attires for the performance later. Before I budge to move out, I take this chance now to take a bow. Lowering my head under the gaze of the cheering crowd, a fan or not, I humbly say to you silently, “Until we fill the world with sapphire pearl blue, we’ll never stop. I stand here in the backstage. It is getting colder. I hope you’ll keep yourself warm ne? It hurt so much when people doubted us. But we can’t do anything much, it’s their opinion. All we can do is prove them wrong, prove them they are wrong in doubting us. Together with ELF, anything is possible ne?
I stand here in the stage, together with my 11 great dongsaengs. Kibum-ah, we miss you already. Do your best in acting ne? I know in our hearts, we’ll always be ONE. Even if we do promote in separate groups, Super Junior Mandarin in China, together with our brothers Henry and Zhoumi, Super Junior Happy and Trot here in Korea and Japan respectively, in our hearts we’ll always be one. They may doubt us but we’ll always be ONE. The music starts, and I hear your cheers. Now, we exist in our own oblivion. Every steps and go we dedicate to you all. Forever we’ll be thankful that you are there for us. I can see the sapphire blue sea, standing out amidst the crowd. As the music stops, still your cheers are the clearest. Ah, it’s been 1 year and six months since the last time we take the stage for Don’t Don. How have you been everyone? We finally come back ne? Ah, it’s the 13th of March 2009, the day for our comeback. Sorry Sorry that we make you wait long. Kibum couldn’t take the stage with us but I know he’s cheering for us like you guys. And I know, even if there is one space to be fill in, deep in our hearts, we can feel that he is with us. ELF, we come back now with a new us once again. I hope you’ll like it. Let’s do our best neh? It’s been 3 years since everything started ne and we’ll continue more right? You have been protecting us, our sub-groups and each of the members, this time we’ll protect you.

Days of practice and rehearsals to bring you the best have paid off. We finally did it. Tears keep on pouring, I couldn’t hold it in. “ELF, thank you!!! Kibum-ah, hyungs did it!!!” I shouted as tears of happiness strikes me. No words can describe how much thankful I am to everyone that supported us. I am forever thankful to the lord, for giving this chance, standing with this awesome 12 guys and to our beautiful ELF. With tears still lingersd in the side of my eyes, I take this chance to take a bow. Lowering my head with happiness because of everything that we have together, I humbly say to silently, “Almost 4 years of being together, we will still keep moving forward. ELF, we are Super Junior!”

We’re waiting here in the stage for the music to start. After minutes, KRY took the stage, singing Sorry Sorry Answer. I hear your cheer once again and I felt warm within my heart. Once again, a lot had happened. Kangin’s news is shocking but we believe in him. I know you do. It might be just 11 of us now but we’ll never stop. Will you continue believing on us? It might be difficult to fill up 2 spaces but we’ll do our best.

We have done it once again. Anything is possible and that’s because ELF has always been there. I’m really grateful. You keep protecting us. Sometimes I still think if we deserve all the love you give to us. Here we are now in the stage, accepting yet another wonderful award. Eunhyuk starts to cry already huh? Donghae is starting to shed tears too. Ah, I must hold first my tears so I can face you with a smile. Hugs and greetings are shared with each other, of course our hoobae SNSD are there to congratulate us as we congratulate them too. Before tears fall, I take this chance to take a bow. It kinda feels empty when 3 spaces are left unoccupied. But we must move on. It is so sudden that Hankyung decided to go on and take a different path. But no matter what happens, Hankyung will always be a part of Super Junior. Please support him too.

Bonamana… our 4th album. Please give lots of love to it like you have done for our past releases. Our ELF is sure a miinah and we dedicate this to you. Time surely flies, right? It’s been 5 years already since we have taken that road together. Here again, the award ceremonies have come. ELF that has keep on supporting us, I hope we don’t disappoint you. Thank you again for voting us as the MSN Popularity award and now the Disk Bonsang is in our hands too. We are now waiting for the Disk Daesang to be announce. I keep my head down, praying that we’ll win again. Selfish as it may sound but I really want to win it before me and Heechul enter the army.

I’m sorry but we fail you ELF. Really, I’m happy for our hoobaes and dongsaengs So Nyu Shi Dae but you can’t remove the sadness I feel. I know the others feel it too. My tears start to pour, same goes for Eunhyuk, Donghae, Ryeowook and Sungmin. We can’t help it. We are hoping but it left us being disappointed, especially to ourselves that we can’t win it this time for our dear ELF.
But even though we didn’t win this time, I still feel thankful that you are there with us. For me, having ELF is our greatest award. I take this chance ,even if it might not be noticeable, to take a bow. Lowering my head even if the spotlight isn’t spotted on us, I humbly say to you silently, “Thank you for your continuous support. There will be next time and we’ll do our best. ELF, we are Super Junior.”

I can’t believe it. It seems like yesterday when we have started Super Show 3. Do you like it? Everyone work hard for it, especially Eunhyuk and Shindong that became our floor director. My stare roam around inside the stadium and witness the beauty of sapphire pearl blue sea. Ah, as I expect even before, it will always be beautiful. 3 hours of fun have finished and it’s time to say goodbye. I look at each of the members, glad I was able to continuously stand with them at the same stage. A lot of them are emerging for their solo activities ne? They have grown so much. I’m really happy and proud of each of them.
Like any other concerts we made, it’s time to express our solemn gratitude with a bow. It may be the same but it is different for me. Maybe for Heechul too since both of us are going to the army soon. We take this chance to bow with our earnest hearts. Lowering my head for the last time in our own stage for now, I humbly say to you silently, “You’ll wait for us ne? Always remember, we are Super Junior and we’ll take the stage together again soon.”

It’s been a rough road but we stayed stronger. I’m really pleased. I’m glad that all of the members have come forth to send me and Heechul off. I know even if Hankyung isn’t with us, he’s cheering and praying for us to be alright. And after we enter, I’m sure Kangin will welcome us with a smile. Ah, our dear ELF who have been supporting us from the start come to send us off too. I’m really happy. I’m really am. I don’t really want to cry but I can’t hold anymore my tears. I’m just really grateful.
I feel warm as we have our group hug. I will miss this hug for 2 years that I’ll be gone. We can say goodbye for now but I will do it with a tear and smile. Thank you everyone. Thank you for everything. Thank you from all of my heart.
Aligned with 11 dongsaengs that are so dear to me and feeling there are 13 hearts that will always beat as one, I take this chance to face you and take a bow. With an overwhelmed heart because of the love you give to me, I lower my head as a tear tickles gently my cheeks. I hope my usage of words (especially with Henry and Zhoumi) didn't offend any fans or anyone. I did my best to be careful of how I will present this to you.
